2005 – 2025 It's 20 years of The Offenders!!

It's a STORM OVER THE MAINLAND!! The 10th album that celebrates 20 years of Offenders will be released mid. February 2025 on Sunny Bastards and distributed worldwide by Cargo. The sound delivered it's blending all influences Offenders had over the years : from the stomping offbeat of “Partizani in Budapest” to the mandolin punk rock of “Off my chest” – from the ska-punk of “The way the people think” to the guitar riff anthem of “Sixteenth Round”. All straight in the face, kick-ass sound, unique and blended as it's been proved release after release, ready for the new chorus to singalong or the next dance floor hit! Party and commitments : since their real beginning Offenders supported and keep on supporting antifascist and antiracist youth clubs, squats, football groups all over Europe and abroad. Their message can still be found in the new songs : from “Partizani in Budapest” (against the Hungarian far-right annual parade called day of honor) to “The way the people think” (talking about the raise of right wing populism in Germany) – always mixing social criticism to private issues and life experience as can be heard in “The Breach" or “Off my chest”. Offenders were formed in Cosenza (Italy) back in 2005 and relocated in Berlin by the end of 2008. Among their most notorious underground hits : Hooligan Reggae (a dance floor classic from their first album) and Marchez (the rebel sound from Class of Nations – with over 1million 6 thousands streams on Spotify at this moment). Offenders have toured all over Europe countless times, including 2 tours in Russia, 1 in China and most recently in Mexico (January 2024) appearing in festivals as Mighty Sounds (Czech Republic) – Rebellion (UK) – Spirit from the streets (DE) Sjock (BE) – Couvre Feu (FR) – Ruhrpott Rodeo (DE) – Los Almiros (GR) – Rudeboys Unity (CH) and more. Sharing stages with acts such : Bad Religion, Nofx, Korn, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Social Distortion, Uk Subs, Agnostic Front, Selecter, Discharge, Sick of it All, Real Mckenzies, Cock Sparrer, Slime, Antilopen Gang, Pennywise, Toy Dolls and many more!!

20 Jahre The Offenders!

Anlässlich dieses Jubiläums veröffentlicht die Band im Februar 2025 ihr zehntes Album mit dem Titel: STORM OVER THE MAINLAND bei Sunny Bastards und Cargo Records. Der Sound dieses Albums vereint erneut verschiedenste musikalische Einflüsse, welche die Band in den letzten Jahren geprägt haben: Dazu gehören die unverwechselbare Mischung aus treibenden Offbeats, wie im Song “Partizani in Budapest”, die seit Gründung der Band zu ihrem Wesen gehören, sowie der rauher gewordene Punkrock, der mittlerweile tonangebend für die Band geworden ist, als auch die inzwischen fest zum Ensemble gehörende Mandoline etwa im Song: “Off My Chest”. Vom Ska-Punk “The Way People Think” bis zur melodischen Gitarrenriff Hymne “Sixteenth Round” sind alle Songs eine direkte Ansage an Herz und Hirn, sowie ein gehöriger Tritt in den Hintern. Es ist eine einzigartige Mischung musikalischer und thematischer Stile, die sich Release für Release bewährt und entwickelt hat. Bereit für den nächsten Singalong-Refrain oder den nächsten Dancefloor-Hit, also Party einerseits, aber auch stets Engagement und eine eindeutige Haltung andererseits: Seit ihrer Gründung unterstützen The Offenders antifaschistische und antirassistische Jugendclubs, Kundgebungen, Hausprojekte und Fußballgruppen in ganz Europa und darüber hinaus. Ihre Botschaft verkünden sie dementsprechend auch in ihren neuen Songs: Von "Partizani in Budapest" (gegen den ungarischen Neonaziaufmarsch namens “Tag der Ehre”) bis hin zu "The Way the People Think" (über den Aufstieg des rechtspopulistischen Denkens in Deutschland) gibt es stets eine Mischung aus sozialer Kritik, privaten Themen und persönlichen Lebenserfahrungen, wie in den Songs "The Breach" oder "Off my Chest" zu hören ist. Die Offenders wurden 2005 in Cosenza (Italien) gegründet und zogen Ende 2008 nach Berlin.
